2013 Election Predictions: OBAMA vs. ROMNEY Matchup

How about this election prediction with Pawlenty vs Obama in 2013?
What do you think about this projection if it ends up being Pawlenty vs Obama?
I hope this is what happens!

Answer by Emebet
Dude, Pawlenty is a boring loser who will drop out. The guy is dull and can’t talk. Mitt Romney or Rick Perry will be the nominee.

Answer by Weasel Mcweasel
Pawlenty is in the Kunninich-Sharpton category of. “why are we even talking about these losers? ”

Obama will win easily by default, if Republicans can’t come up with a real candidate.

Heck, their best bet at this point, would be to run McCain again……….and see if America wants to revert to plan B again.

Answer by Neo Haven
Pawlenty? The guy that doesnt have any backbone? The guy that doesnt back his own statement at the national republican debates? Are you kidding?

US 2013 Election Predictions?
Who do you think the Republican nominee will be? How about the VP nominee? Do you think the Republican ticket will defeat Obama in 2013?

Thanks!

Answer by Canadian Student
Romney for President
Paul for VP

No, Obama will win.

Answer by Mogollon Dude
I believe there will not be an election in 2013 .

Answer by Skittles
I hope the Republicans don’t fix this one like they are prone to do.

@steppingrock I woulnd’t be suprised if Obama owns Romney in the debates (and I’m predicting that he willl because Barak is a sharp brotha) and still lose the election. I don’t understand how Americans vote over the past years. Its gotten to the point to that no matter who is in office, I really don’t think it will be much change…republican or democrat. I do believe Obama is genuinely trying to make a change though but he’s working with stubborn colleagues. My vote goes to Obama.

    should be a blowout.

GOP primaries will continue all the way to the convention with nobody getting a majority. So much mud will be slung, all four become very unpopular, especially Romney. Establishment super delegates will go to Romney for a win. Others cry foul. Santorum, Gingrich & Paul along with Palin & Cain all go 3rd Party. Obama gets 58%, Romney gets 29%, Santorum 5%, Paul 4%, Palin 3%, Gingrich & Cain 1% each. Obama wins all states except Utah & Idaho. Final electoral count: 528-10.

@wtfwtfwtfdude “2) The economy has been gaining private sector jobs,NOT losing them. At this rate the unemployment will be under 7% by Nov”

Considering that the real unemployment rate is around 12% to 15% (I’m assuming you’re only counting those who are actively collecting unemployment insurance), your prediction is quite a stretch.

The government has a knack of using formulas that only work in their favor. The worst is the calculation used for inflation which is really around 10%.

Do you really think Romney can beat Obama in a debate? I hope so, but I don’t think he possesses the same debating skills as presidents Obama, Clinton, Reagan, Nixon, or JFK. He reminds me of John Kerry.

@wtfwtfwtfdude I’m not counting on Missouri. That state is loaded with rural conservatives and it even went with John McCain in ’08. I know that Romney hasn’t done well in the southern states against Gingrich, HOWEVER, I live in the south and can tell you that Obama is HATED down here….in the general election, they’ll vote for whoever Obama’s opponent is so long as there’s an R next to their name. VA and NC are traditionally red states that I don’t think we’ll get THIS time.

@GeorgiaKev Obama is polling decent in Missouri too as far as midwest states (tied with Rom). I don’t know how well Romney will do in VA and NC. He does not perform that great in the South. The low GOP Primary turnout this year is a bad sign for Romney. New Mexico leans strongly democrat, Obama beat McCain there by a large margin. It’s almost certain he’ll win it again. Colorado is a tossup for sure.

Assuming Romney is the nominee, I don’t think Obama will carry either VA or NC this year. NV may also be a bit of a stretch. I agree Obama will sweep the northeast except for NH. Obama will have to win those six crucial midwestern states (OH, MI, WI, MN, IA, and IL) and then he’ll need to get either Colorado or New Mexico to get over 270. A loss in any one of those six midwestern states I just listed could doom his re-election prospects.

The only way unemployment drops that low is enough people can’t find work after using up their 99 weeks of unemployment compensation. When they pass that threshold, they are no longer counted as unemployed. If you factor in the number people who aren’t counted in the unemployment percentage, it skyrockets the true unemployment number to 17% with 25 million people out of work, AND THAT will hopefully swing in Romney’s or possibly Newt’s direction.
