Cycles? Are you talking about quarters? If unemployment goes to 9.0%-9.5%, Obama won’t get re-elected. If unemployment which is 8.3% and the trend is downward, then Obama will get re-elected. Your teacher should have told you money is factor, the GOP nominee field is a factor, and racial demographics. If the Republican nominee defeats Obama, it is probably becuase they got 62%-65% of the white vote and the non-white vote turnout is low because of the economy/voter ID laws.

I agree! Barrack Obama will get re-elected. If it ends up being Gingrich or Romney(who’m it will likely be), then yes, Obama will have an easy win here. But, If Ron Paul can overcome the media, and if the american people can wake-up from their stupidity & ignorance, then I think Obama will have a challenge in Paul. Obama will still have the votes of latino’s, blacks, and gays; but RP can take some of the votes from the dem party, and the independents. Its a 50/50 chance if Paul wins the nominee.
